In their computer coding lessons, our students learn logic, problem-solving, and perseverance. It's challenging and fun to get technology to do what you want it to!

Learning our History
Each year, before Memorial Day, our students learn about those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country and our freedoms. A silent dismissal is held on the last Friday in May.

Our Wall of Honor recognized family members of CIS students and staff who have served or are currently serving in our Armed Forces
5th graders at Cedar Creek
Each fall our 5th graders get to explore nature, conduct authentic investigations, and visit world-famous research experiments at Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve in East Bethel, MN
Information at Their Finger Tips
Literacy lessons include information literacy. Learning to find and make sense of credible sources is an important life skill.
